'Of Beetles and Bugs'
the project
The ephemeral art project ''Uecht 2017' (may 5 - 21, 2017), an important Group Show by 'CUEVA' - was located in a former Volkswagen-garage. So I realized an installation in respecting the history of the
place. The location suggested itself to play around with the Volkswagen brand. And which car would represent that brand name better than the legendary 'Beetle'?
The idea to 'Of Beetles and Bugs' was born in february 2017. I picked an office room in the administrative part of the large building and converted it, step by step, into a mystical mixed up
space in which reality and dreams - sometimes nightmarish - were awaiting the visitors.
Those were confronted, in a manner of speaking, with a quite kafkaesque situation ...
