François Besch's photographic
work is complex and multi-faceted. In his nature and landscape shots, his primary interest is in conveying feelings or moods, creating visual poetry. François Besch has also applied himself to
portrait, street and experimental photography since the 1980s.
In march 2017 the artist was awarded the 'Monika von Boch-Price for Photography'.
Besch started his artistic career already as an adolescent. He participated in national and international exhibitions through the late 1970s and the 1980s before turning toward art photography. Today, he is combining photography, painting and sculpture to create a unique kind of art.
